Windows to the World

As we’ve gotten to know the the pragmatic headmistress of the Ife Oluwa School, Ms. Rasheeda, we’ve been increasing our support of the Ife Oluwa School in Lekki. Despite their modest surroundings, the children there are held to a high educational standard.

This Spring, Ms. Rasheeda asked for help upgrading the classroom facilities. Broken windows with missing panes were a hazard, and the extra layer of screening made the classrooms dark. This was a relatively simple construction project that has made a big difference. The classrooms have more natural light now–witness the transformation!
