Our visit to the school today included a tour of the school for the new volunteers that had never visited the school. The kids were very excited to show us some of what they had learnt so far…

We had a chance to spend with time with the little kids and got to listen to them recite their alphabets…In addition, children discussed what their future goals were and also listed the professions they aspired to…..In turn, the volunteers mentored the children to stress the importance of studying hard and focusing on their education to ensure they achieved their goals….

Teachers at the school got to inform us about school materials and library books that could be used as learning support for the students at the school. In addition, crafts and school supplies such as additional pencils, crayons, notebooks, pens are always in demand.

“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you” is a quote by B.B.King and this was our theme for the visit!!!…….
